I shot these pictures during a weekend in January 2012. We visited the area with other colleagues and a number of journalists in a mission to promote it internationally. The beauty was breathtaking. The mountain is known as 'the Bold' in the meaning of hairless, I guess because of lack of forest plantation near the summit. It is located in the region of Drama, Eastern Macedonia in Greece, near the Northern borders with Bulgaria.
